I saw your bio description and had to subscribe! Fellow survivor of fundamentalist Christianity and an escapee of a "stay at home daughter" household....also a Tolkein lover. And we've already discussed our love of Jess Pan. So happy to have found your words here! 🙌🏼♥️
Hey Tiffany! I published with this organization last year and they just sent out a call for submissions. Seems like it might be up your alley. Wanted to send it your way.
Thank you for sending this, Sarah! I'm familiar with this organisation but didn't know they take submissions. I will try to submit something by the deadline. Thanks again! I would love to read what you wrote for them. Do you have a link to it somewhere?
Hello Tiffany, Chap gotti, Michi Tisetzki, Oyindamola Ayomide, Didier Hope, Emmanuel, Ben Abdelhafid, Mother Inferior, Jessie Ren, M F R Siddiqui, and all. Please see/share our research from Captain Rob Balsamo, Amber Quitno, Captain Dan Hanley, Prof. Tony Martin, Prof. Graeme MacQueen, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, and others and help us improve it if you can. Thank you!
Tiffany, you never cease to amaze me with your generosity. What a fabulous idea to compile your essays into an e-book. And your stark honesty rings with clarity, purpose, and power. I want you to know that every time I read what you share, it's like I'm looking up at a perfectly clear night sky at billions of stars. That's the awe I feel from what you write.
Jeannie, I’m saving this comment and storing it in my heart for when I feel discouraged. Thank you for being a light in my life and encouraging me to keep going. I’m in awe of you, and so glad we met.
Tiffany, I don’t know if you do this or not, but I keep a spiral notebook and record the encouraging comments from other writers and readers that reflect specific ways they have been touched by my life. The reason is that I so easily fall into discouragement, and often I doubt myself: Am I good enough? Is my writing any good? Do I have anything really to say? Maybe I’m a has-been or a hopeful or a hack. So, maybe that’s something to tuck away as an idea, if you don’t already do something like that. Because truly, I want you to remember my words. I speak deeply from my heart, and I am so grateful for you, as well.
That's beautiful. I've only recently started doing that in my drive, but I should have started way earlier! We all tend to fall into cycles of self-criticism and doubt.
